The aid (1) has a support (2) provided with a major axis (HA) and detachably connected with a bed frame. A backrest (4) is arranged between arm supports (3) arranged at the support. The arm supports and the backrest are independently positioned along the major axis at the support and fastened at the support by attaching units e.g. screws, where the backrest comprises additional positioning units (8'). The arm supports are vertically adjustable. A foot support is fastened at the arm supports by the attaching units.
