The device has a determination module for determining the real position of an object (1). The additional information (16) with respect to object is transmitted to the virtual monitoring unit (5) from the data receiver (3). The loudspeakers are provided in the space in the audio signal receiver such that the three-dimensional positional information (12) of the object and additional information of object are transmitted as audio signals to the listener. An independent claim is included for method for generating direction-dependent audio data.
