The device (1) has a frame (1'), on which a carrier element (10) for a goods-presentation base is pivotally fixed by a pivot arm (5). The pivot arm is rotatably articulated on the frame. The carrier element is fixed on the frame with a stop element. The stop element is formed as a stop pin which is provided at a portion of the carrier element. The frame is formed as U-sape. An independent claim is included for a counter with a subbase.
