Device for monitoring closing condition of door of e.g. building to detect external influence on door, has evaluation device evaluating received acoustic signals, and determining condition of door from results of evaluation
The device (10) has an excitation device (11) e.g. relay, for acoustic excitation of a door leaf (1). A microphone (13) and a signal detecting and recording device (15) stay in communication connection with the excitation device via a communication network. The microphone and the signal detecting and recording device synchronizingly receive acoustic signals (Sa), which are produced due to a periodic excitation signal (Se), from the door. An evaluation device (17) evaluates the received acoustic signals, and determines a condition of the door from results of the evaluation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for monitoring a condition of a door (2) a monitoring system.
