The method involves supplying a metallic bar material (s) to a cutting device (3) and cutting a portion (A) of the metallic bar material. The both ends of the cut portion of the metallic bar material is chamfered. The chamfered cut portion is supplied to a single-step transformation device (8) so as to transform the chamfered cut portion into a mold portion (F).
