FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, and is intended for predicting occlusion of retinal veins in case of venous occlusion of fellow eye. Photoregistration of eye fundus of "healthy" eye is performed by means of adaptive multispectral fundus-camera. Arteriolo-venous coefficient (AVC) is determined on the section after the second bifurcation. If AVC value is lower than 0.73, occlusion of retinal veins on "healthy" eye is predicted.;EFFECT: method provides possibility of making prediction for patients without accompanying vascular pathology and carrying out timely preventive therapeutic procedures with constant control of healthy eye state in case of presence of venous thrombosis on the other eye.;2 ex
