FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: there are presented synthetic oligonucleotide primers and method for detection of Lactococcus lactis subspecies cremoris in starter cultures used in cheese industry and cultured milk production. The presented method involves conducting the PCR. If having found the DNA fragment of size of 334 b.p., the presence of Lactococcus lactis subspecies cremoris in the analysed biomaterial is stated.;EFFECT: method may be used in milk industry for the purpose of detection and identification of Lactococcus lactis subspecies cremoris strains and cultures in starter cultures used in cheese industry and cultured milk production.;2 cl, 1 tbl, 3 ex
