FIELD: test equipment.;SUBSTANCE: strength of an asphalt concrete cover surface is assessed by the depth of a mine - a groove in the cover from pulsating action of a spring-loaded inclined cam, which with its rubberised surface makes reciprocal sliding on asphalt concrete under action of the stem pressing it to the latter with specified force, making reciprocal motion, which is converted as the cam rotates on an axis fixed in the stem into reciprocal motion of the cam pressed to the surface of the asphalt concrete with a spring and a stem. The structure comprises a stem, a curvilinear rubberised cam, a pressing spring arranged between the cam and the stem bracket, and retained from displacement by a pin fixed on the cam and stretching via a hole in the bracket, and also a locked nut arranged at the end of the pin behind the bracket, serving to control the force of cam pressing to the surface of the asphalt concrete cover.;EFFECT: higher bearing capacity of motor roads due to increased quality of manufacturing and laying of asphalt concrete cover.;4 cl, 1 dwg
