PURPOSE: A grindstone mark forming device is provided to continuously perform an inspection without stopping a continuous line by using a grindstone and to maintain the reliability of the inspection by stably forming a grindstone mark.;CONSTITUTION: A grindstone mark forming device comprises an electromagnet roll(14), a grindstone roll(22), a moving frame(48), a moving plate(38), a cylinder(44), a main moving frame(8), and a screw motor. The electromagnet roll is in contact with a steel plate by magnetic force, thereby rotating by the advance of the steel plate. The grindstone is rotated by being interlocked with the electromagnet roll and forms a grindstone mark on the steel plate.
