PURPOSE: A revetment structure using a vegetation revetment block is provided to prevent loss of vegetation revetment by securely fixing a plurality of vegetation revetment blocks on a sloped surface such as a revetment or an embankment of a river and to smoothly create green areas by providing a large vegetation space between the vegetation revetment blocks.;CONSTITUTION: A bank protection structure using a vegetation revetment block comprises a plurality of vegetation revetment blocks(10), a plurality of support units(20), a bottom concrete layer(5), and a top concrete layer(6). The plurality of vegetation revetment blocks are built on a sloped surface(1). The plurality of support units support the plurality of vegetation revetment blocks on the sloped surface. The bottom concrete layer is constructed at the lower end of the sloped surface in a longitudinal direction and supports the plurality of vegetation revetment blocks from the bottom. The bottom concrete layer is constructed at the top end of the sloped surface in a longitudinal direction and supports the plurality of vegetation revetment blocks from the top. The plurality of vegetation revetment blocks comprise a base, a plurality of artificial stones protruded from the top of the base; and a plurality of vegetation holes formed at a side of the base. A plurality of projections, a plurality of auxiliary vegetation grooves, and an auxiliary vegetation hole are formed at an edge of the vegetation revetment block.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
