PURPOSE: A mine detecting device and a processing method for a detected signal are provided to easily form the images of an underground utility by using a constant value of a parabola equation or parabola images.;CONSTITUTION: A mine detecting device includes a detecting unit (10), a control unit (20), an image generating unit (30), and a height calculating unit (50). The detecting unit radiates a detecting signal to an underground area and receives a response signal formed as the detecting signal responds to an underground utility laid in the underground area. The control unit obtains parabolic images from the response signal. The control unit forms a parabolic equation from the images and calculates a constant value from the parabolic equation. The image generating unit forms the images of the underground utility by using the moving distance of the detecting unit and the constant value.
