PURPOSE: A mobile device and a management method thereof are provided to use an earth magnetic sensor for minimizing activation time of hardware for near field communication.;CONSTITUTION: An earth magnetic sensor unit (300) measures a magnetic field outside of a mobile device. An application processing unit (200) is activated based on a result that a modem processing unit processes a value sensed by the earth magnetic sensor unit. The application processing unit manages the driving of an internal application program of the mobile device. A near field communication unit (500) is activated by the application processing unit.
