PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing thermoelectric CrSi_2 compound powder for high temperature using a mechanical alloying process and the thermoelectric CrSi_2 compound powder for high temperature manufactured by the same are provided to manufacture thermoelectric CrSi_2 compounds to ultrafine powder with the mechanical alloying process and to manufacture the thermoelectric CrSi_2 compound compacts for high temperature by rapidly sintering the thermoelectric CrSi_2 compound powder for high temperature with a spark plasma sintering method. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing thermoelectric CrSi_2 compound powder for high temperature using a mechanical alloying process is as follows: a step of mechanically alloying raw material powder in which Cr powder and Si powder are mixed; and a step of thermally treating the raw material powder within 500-700 degree.
