PURPOSE: A terahertz optical fiber one point detecting device using an electro-optic material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to detect a terahertz wave with low costs and a simple method.;CONSTITUTION: A terahertz wave detecting device (30) includes a cutting unit (41), a thin film (20), and an optical transmission unit. The cutting unit vertically cuts one surface of an optical fiber (40). A tellurium zinc thin film is attached to the cutting unit. A light transmission unit transmits a femto second laser pulse light to the optical fiber. The terahertz wave detecting device detects a terahertz electro-wave by using the phase delay of a femto second laser pulse reflected by the tellurium zinc thin film.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
