PURPOSE: A multimedia service providing method for guaranteeing the quality of service (QoS) is provided to secure the QoS of a real time multi-media service by recognizing the change of a service device and the network specificity by the handover on wireless network environment.;CONSTITUTION: The quality of media is remarkably lowered for encoding when the available bandwidth of remote device network is narrower than the predetermined standard available bandwidth (S403). A data packet transmission range to a handover occurrence point is reduced when the media receiving packet delay and the loss rate is greater than the predetermined standard range based on a received session initiation protocol (SIP) message.
