摘要

PURPOSE: A device and a method for predicting plate fracture in a cold-rolling process are provided to predict plate fracture by detecting edge cracks on a steel sheet and to increase the accuracy of predicting the plate fracture so that an operator can cope with the plate fracture at a good time.;CONSTITUTION: A device for predicting plate fracture in a cold-rolling process comprises a light source(1), a camera(2), and a signal processing unit(3). The light source irradiates lights on a steel sheet(100). The camera is installed in a side opposite to the light source based on the steel sheet and generates images by detecting the incident lights.
