PURPOSE: A brake system is provided to effectively transmit the power boosting of a brake pedal to the master cylinder of a hydraulic unit using a motor instead of a vacuum booster.;CONSTITUTION: A brake system comprises a booster unit(10) and a hydraulic unit. The booster unit comprises a sensor, a motor(11), a reducer(12), a ball screw member(14), and a belt(15). The sensor senses the operation volume of a brake pedal(1). The motor is operated by the signal of the sensor. The reducer reduces the rotatory power of the motor. The ball screw member converts the rotary movement of the reducer into a linear movement. The belt connects the reducer and ball screw member. The hydraulic unit comprises a master cylinder(22), a modulator block(26), and a wheel cylinder(28). The master cylinder forms fluid pressure by delivering the boosting power of the motor. The modulator block and wheel cylinder selectively deliver the hydraulic power of the master cylinder which is delivered through a hydraulic hose(24).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
