PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to selectively form a coating layer in one side which is faced with a sleeve, thereby preventing axis direction surface touch friction of the sleeve and a rotation axis when a rotation unit is overloaded.;CONSTITUTION: A rotation unit includes a rotation axis(110), a hub(120), and a magnet(130). A fixing unit includes a sleeve(140), a base(150), and an armature(160). A fluid hydrodynamic bearing unit is formed between the rotation unit and the fixing unit. A coating layer(C1) is selectively formed in one side which is faced with the sleeve to prevent axis direction surface touch friction of the rotation axis and the sleeve.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
