摘要

PURPOSE: A variable friction damper is provided to variably obtain damping force for responding to the vibration of low and high frequency domain by varying the fixing force of a clamp according to the operation direction of a motor.;CONSTITUTION: A variable friction damper comprises a damper housing(110), a piston rod(120), a friction member(130), and a clamping unit. The damper housing is internally equipped with a predetermined space for allowing the piston rod to move in the longitudinal direction. The piston rod perpendicularly penetrates one end of the damper housing for connecting an external vibrating medium and damps the vibration of the vibrating medium by moving back and for the inside the damper housing. The friction member is rubbed with the outer circumference of the piston rod inside the damper housing and provides damping force for reducing the vibration of the vibrating medium. The clamping unit surrounds the outer circumference of the friction member and piston rod. The clamping unit is adjustable in length for varying friction force between the friction member and piston rod and is variable in fixing force.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
