PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for adsorbing gas-phase heavy oil from dried coals are provided to adsorb heavy oil onto the porous coals at low temperature without using a solvent and to minimize energy consumption.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for adsorbing gas-phase heavy oil from dried coals comprises a heavy oil vaporizing system(10), a reactor(20), and a heavy oil connection part(30). The heavy oil vaporizing system comprises a heavy oil melter and a heavy oil vaporizer. The heavy oil melter melts the solid heavy oil within 200-300 degree. The heavy oil vaporizer vaporizes the liquid heavy oil within 300-400 degree. The reactor adsorbs the vaporized heavy oil on the dried coals.
