PURPOSE: A skimmer of a slag skimmer and a skimmer refractory are provided to improve the efficiency of slag skimmer work by increasing the service life of a skimmer of a slag skimmer and to reduce wear and tear expenses by extending the replacement period of the skimmer. CONSTITUTION: A skimmer(100) of a slag skimmer comprises a metal plate(110) and a refractory(130). The metal plate is coupled to one end of a skimmer arm. The refractory is composed of chromium oxide, a metal fiber, silicon carbide, and alumina and is coupled to one side of the metal plate. The refractory is composed of 6-10 wt% of chromium oxide, 4-6 wt% of metal fiber, 10-15 wt% of silicon carbide, and the rest of alumina.
