PURPOSE: A mobile robot, a remote control system, and a method thereof are provided to check a state of the mobile robot in real time and to perform voice communication or video communication by using a terminal device with the mobile robot.;CONSTITUTION: A mobile robot comprises a communicating unit and a controlling unit. The communicating unit receives a control signal from an external terminal device and transmits an answering signal corresponding to the control signal to the external terminal device.
