PURPOSE: An offset compensation device and a compensation method thereof are provided to compensate for offset between a Gr pixel and a Gb pixel. The offset compensation device defines a surrounding GB pixel including the largest offset(S120). The offset compensation device determines a compensation pixel value of a center pixel(S130). When the center pixel does not exist in an edge area, the offset compensation device outputs a pixel value of the center pixel(S150,S160). When the center pixel does not exist in the edge area, the offset compensation device outputs the compensation pixel value of the center pixel(S170).
