PURPOSE: A combined specimen collecting device is provided to collect specimens such as a manganese nodule by simultaneously utilizing a free fall type and a box type in an identical sea bottom area.;CONSTITUTION: A combined specimen collecting device comprises a main specimen collecting unit(100), one or more sub specimen collecting units(200), and an image acquisition unit(300). The main specimen collecting unit of predetermined weight is infiltrated into the sea bottom and inserted into submarine topography, thereby collecting specimens including deposits. The sub specimen collecting unit is arranged in a lateral side of the main specimen collecting unit and collects a predetermined amount of specimens on a surface of the submarine topography. The image acquisition unit is installed in the main specimen collecting unit and obtains images of the submarine topography.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
