摘要
PURPOSE: A mold flux for a continuous casting for a high oxygen-steel and a continuous casting method using the same are provided to prevent cohesion between the fluxes in the continuous casting, and solidification by a reaction between the flux and an extruded oxide.;CONSTITUTION: A mold flux for a continuous casting for a high oxygen-steel contains a large amount of oxygen. The mold flux contains CaO and SiO2 as main components, less than 1 wt% of C, and 3 to 7 wt% of Al as a heat generating alloy. The ratio of CaO/SiO2 is 0.8 to 1.1. The mold flux contains 3 to 10 wt% of Al2O3, and less than 5 wt% of MgO. The mold flux contains 10 to 20 wt% of a sum of Na2O, Li2O and F. The melting point of the mold flux is 1000 to 1250 Deg.C. The viscosity of the mold flux is 2.5 to 4.0 poise at 1300 Deg.C.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Classification; (BB) Embodiment 1; (CC) Embodiment 2; (DD) Embodiment 3; (EE) Embodiment 4; (FF) Comparative embodiment; (GG) Unit: wt%; (HH) No addition; (II) Viscosity(Poise); (JJ) Melting point(°C); (KK) Number of porous defects on slab surface; (LL) Reference
