PURPOSE: An echo drive indicator for a vehicle using a smartphone is provided not to need to secure separate mounding space for installing a smartphone, thereby having high availability of the space of narrow vehicles. CONSTITUTION: An echo drive indicator for a vehicle using a smartphone comprises a smartphone(100), an operator, and a display(300). The smartphone detects vehicle speed by using a GPS sensor(110). The smartphone has a gravity sensor(120) for detecting the angle of the inclination of roads. The operator calculates fuel efficiency data by using the car speed and the angle of the inclination of roads. The display outputs the calculated data.
