The present invention discloses a system for providing lesson content and a method for providing lesson content, which relay lesson details on online lesson materials generated at the terminal of the instructor so as to conduct an online lesson and record the lesson details as synchronized information. The system for providing lesson content according to the present invention comprises a lesson server including: a lesson-material registration unit for receiving the registration of lesson material data; an online lesson-conducting unit for receiving, from the terminal of the instructor and the terminal of the student, lesson details including audio data, control events, and written data generated for the lesson material data displayed on the screen of the terminal of the instructor, and providing same between the instructor and the student; a synchronized information recording unit for synchronization in time and recording the lesson detail data generated by the terminal of the instructor during an online lesson; and a content-providing unit for providing the lesson material data and the recorded synchronized information after an online lesson is completed. According to the present invention, lesson details on lesson material that are synchronized in time are outputted as audio or on a screen, and lesson content is provided as a small amount of data.
