Provided is a method for fabricating durable feather oil absorbent felt, comprising the following steps: performing a water repellent finish; performing rolling and pressing operation by using a roller; performing drying and baking operation; forming feather oil absorbent felt that repels water and absorbs oil. Also provided is a method for fabricating a durable oil sorbent boom, comprising: (a) using polyester spun-bonded nonwoven fabric, polyester/polyethylene bi-component spun-bonded nonwoven fabric or vinylon fiber and acrylic ester chemically bonded nonwoven fabric as a raw material, making a bag through ultrasonic bonding or thread sewing, the density of the nonwoven fabric ranging from 10 g/m2 to 25 g/m2; (b) filling feather oil absorbent felt that repels water and absorbs oil into the bag, and sealing the bag from the two ends to form a durable feather oil sorbent boom. Also provided is a durable feather oil sorbent boom structure, comprising: a bag and feather oil absorbent felt that repels water and absorbs oil and is filled into the bag, the bag being sealed from the two ends. The provided feather oil sorbent boom can float on the sea for at least 15 days, and is used for preventing grease from spreading and absorbing the grease.
