Provided is a color-scheme alteration device capable of immediately altering the color-scheme on a screen according to the situation, in a manner such that the color scheme is one in which each piece of information for configuring the screen always stands out in the screen overall according to the level of importance of each piece of information. A color-scheme alteration device (1) is provided with: an input unit for receiving a designation from a user for a screen to be evaluated; a color-scheme-information acquisition unit (11) for acquiring object-identification information and color-scheme information; an eye-catchiness calculation unit (12) for performing eye-catchiness-calculation processing; an importance-level storage unit (13) for storing importance-level information; a color-scheme-appropriateness determination unit (14) for determining whether or not the orders of the importance-level information and eye-catchiness associated with the object match with one another; an improvement-proposal generation unit (15) for outputting color-scheme information having at least one of the used colors altered to the eye-catchiness calculation unit (12) when the two orders do not match, and outputting improved color-scheme information containing the object for which the immediately preceding determination was made when the two orders do match; a screen-drawing unit (16); and an output unit (19).
