The invention relates to a hydraulic control arrangement for controlling a variable fluid volume flow to a load (6, 60, 94, 126, 146, 162), for example a cooling oil flow to a wet clutch, comprising a hydraulically pilot-controlled control valve connected to a fluid supply. Said first control valve (2, 56, 90, 122, 142) is configured such that it supplies a predetermined starting volume flow (Q1) without a pilot control pressure (pVST), that it supplies a continuously increasing volume flow (QK) with a continuous increase of the variable pilot control pressure (pVST), and that at least one second independent, likewise hydraulically pilot-controlled control valve (170) is configured such that it is activated in a predetermined range (55, 88, 120, 132, 140, 152) of the variable pilot control pressure (pVST).
