An article of jewelry comprising a plurality of contiguous carved gemstones (12), each gemstone one girdle (12g), a crown (12c) on one side of the girdle, and a conical canopy (12p) on the opposite side of girdle greater than the crown height; wherein the article comprises a frame which supports at least some of these gemstones in an orientation inverted with facing outwards of the frame and with the crown facing inwardly of the frame flag.
