Use of a photosensitizer composition hydrophobic and / or lipophilic in the manufacture of a medicament for eltratamiento of a hyperactive disorder of the sebaceous glands selected from seborrhea, dermatitisseborreica, and hyperplasia of the sebaceous glands, wherein said medicament is administered by a métodoque comprising: (i) topically applying said drug to the skin tissue exhibiting symptoms of a hiperactivode sebaceous glands selected from seborrhea, seborrheic dermatitis, and hyperplasia of glándulassebáceas disorder, and (ii) exposing the tissue to energy with a wavelength capable activating the photosensitizer, where elfotosensibilizador is selected from verteporfin, lemuteporfin, and combinations thereof.
