The invention relates to chemical processes for preparing metal nanoparticles by synthesis. The prepared colloidal solution can be used in particular in medicine for creating biologically active agents. The colloidal solution of gold nanoparticles and amino acids comprises gold nanoparticles and amino acid as a stabilizer of nanoparticles in aqueous medium. The molar concentration of gold is in the range 0.0001-0.002 mol/l at amino acid concentration within 0.00005-0.0002 mol/l. The aqueous solution has neutral pH. As amino acid - stabilizer lysine or asparagine or glutamine or citrulline is used. Size d of gold nanoparticles is 7-10 nm. Gold nanoparticles have a particle size distribution d up to 30 nm. The maximum value of the maximum band of plasma-resonance absorption of light in the electronic spectra of the colloidal solution is in the range of 520-800 nm. In a process for preparing gold nanoparticles in colloidal solutions in the presence of amino acid the latter is added directly at the stage of formation of the colloidal solution by chemical synthesis to achieve molar concentration of gold within 0.0001-0.002 mol/l at concentration of amino acid within 0.00005-0.0002 mol/l, and with obtaining a neutral hydrogen pH for a hydrogen solution, wherein as a reducer sodium borohydride NaBH, and/or a mixture of ascorbic acid and sodium hydroxide in molar ratio of 1:1 is used. Composites obtained in the way have a minimum size of gold nanoparticles and narrow range of size distribution of nanoparticles.
