EXPLOSIVE GRADE POROUS AMMONIUM NITRATE GRANULES, ANFO EXPLOSIVE COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING EXPLOSIVE GRADE AMMONIUM NITRATE GRANULES, A METHOD TO CONTROL THE HEIGHT OF A FLUIDIZED FLUIDIZED BED FLUIDIZED BED This invention relates to explosive grade porous ammonium nitrate granules. The granules are produced in a fluidized bed and are formed by a combination of layering and agglomeration to produce ammonium nitrate granules which have spherical, smooth, hard and dry shapes and do not easily decompose during handling. Ammonium nitrate granules of a specific size and density range may be prepared and the size and density range of the granules may be varied, depending upon the application of the granules, and this has particular advantages in preparing granules for use in granular compositions. explosive ANFO.
