PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for laying a foundation of equipment for a substation for power distribution, such as a transformer, which can shorten its construction period so as to shorten a power supply stop period for the reinstallation of the transformer and the like, by using a precast concrete slab for the foundation of the equipment for the substation for power distribution, such as the transformer, and which can enhance power supply reliability.;SOLUTION: This device includes: a sealant which has an air vent hole also serving as a mortar filling checking hole, and which is arranged on leveling concrete; a precast concrete slab placed on the sealant; and mortar which is infilled between the levelling concrete and a bottom surface of the precast concrete slab. The precast concrete slab is provided with a box release portion which also serves as a mortar charging hole, the air vent hole which also serves as the mortar filling checking hole, and a working hole for a height adjusting member. Filling conditions can be checked through the air vent hole which also serves as the mortar filling checking hole, and the equipment for the substation for the power distribution is installed and fixed on the precast concrete slab.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
