PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a camera shake at low processing cost by a simple device constitution. PSOLUTION: The camera shake preventing device includes: input means (analog-digital conversion part 32a and analog-digital conversion part 32b) receiving inputs of detection signals outputted from gyro sensors (X-axis gyro sensor 31a and Y-axis gyro sensor 31b) when picking up an image by an imaging device 11; a decision means (processor 33) deciding a camera shake rotational angle which is permitted around an axis in the exposure of the imaging device; and a calculation means (processor 33) dividing the camera shake rotational angle permitted around the axis which is decided by the decision means by angular velocity obtained by the detection signal inputted through the input means, and calculating shutter speed based on the obtained value.
