PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for reducing a blood urate level and to provide a new use of biotin which has been mainly used in a dermatological field.;SOLUTION: The composition comprises biotin effective for hyperuricemia or diseases (gout, renal disorder, urinary calculus, cardiovascular disturbance, arteriosclerotic disease, metabolic syndrome, etc.) caused by hyperuricemia.
