PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-frequency oscillator having a miniaturized and light-weight shape and capable of sharply reducing a frequency, a nondirectional low-frequency underwater acoustic wave transducer using the low-frequency oscillator, and a cylindrical radiation type low-frequency underwater acoustic transducer.;SOLUTION: The low-frequency oscillator includes a plurality of hand drum-shaped oscillators 1a, 1b, 1c each of which is constructed so that disk-shaped flexural vibrators 2a, 2b, each of which is composed by coaxially bonding a doughnut-shaped thin plate piezoelectric vibrator 9 and a metallic disk 10 together with each other, are attached to both the upper end 7a and lower end 7b of a metallic cylinder 7 so that respective doughnut-shaped thin plate piezoelectric vibrators 9 are faced to each other in the metallic cylinder 7. The center part of one disk-shaped flexural vibrator 2a included in any one of the plurality of drum-shaped oscillators 1a, 1b, 1c is coupled with the center part of one disk-shaped flexural vibrator 2b included in the other hand drum-shaped oscillator 1a, 1b, or 1c through each of metallic linear coupling members 3a, 3b to couple the plurality of drum-shaped oscillators 1a, 1b, 1c with each other on a center axis 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
