P To avoid an erroneous operation due to misrecognition of a special number by a communication apparatus when connection is denied because a connection destination line is busy and especially in collective dial transmission. PSOLUTION: When denial-of-connection of a connection destination line is detected upon receiving a connection destination dial number from a caller line and after a predetermined time elapses in a special number accepting timer 17, a control section 16 prepares reception of a special number signal by a special number signal receiving section 13 ON the caller line and transmits a busy call signal for urging transmitting the special number from a busy call signal transmitting section 14.
