PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visit pattern extraction server, a visit pattern extraction system, and a visit pattern extracting method, which can extract a pattern of visits even in an area where the accumulated amount of position information of a portable terminal is small. PSOLUTION: The visit pattern extraction server 10 includes: a spot idea-based visit pattern extraction unit 104 for extracting the transitions of the ideas about visiting spots of more than a certain number of users as patterns of idea-based visits for each level of ideas; a spot-based visit pattern extraction unit 105 storing patterns of visits for which the transitions of ideas match in association with the idea-based patterns of visits; a current area determining unit 106 determining an area in which a target user stays; an in-area spot-based visit pattern extraction unit 107 extracting patterns of visits in the area in which the target user stays as patterns of visits inside the area; and an in-area spot-based visit pattern transmission unit 108 transmitting the extracted patterns of visits inside the area or the idea-based patterns of visits to a portable terminal 30.
