PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial eye which reproduces transparency and a cubic effect of a human eye and which keeps a quality constant even in mass production, and to provide the head of a doll equipped with the artificial eye and the doll equipped with the artificial eye.;SOLUTION: The artificial eye is provided with a body having a dome face on a front side; a decoration body fitted into a recess formed in the dome face of the body, and a lens body adhering to the front surface of the decorating body. The decorating body is formed of a colored and transparent material in a manner where the thickness is varied in a front and rear direction, and the shading of the color of the decoration body is varied according to the thickness.
