PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body base for a tool for removing chips generated during machining with an inlet provided at a desired position, preventing leakage of liquid between a female thread at the liquid inlet for cooling and lubricating, and a male thread of plugs or the like fit thereto.;SOLUTION: Generally, the body base intended for cutting tools of the type comprises an internal duct (10) and the inlets (12, 13) surrounded by the female thread (22) for the supply of liquid to the duct. The female thread (22) of the inlet is formed in a cage (16), which is inserted in seatings (17, 18) delimited by an endless inner wall (23) as well as a bottom (24), in which seating the duct (10) mouths.
