PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design method and a design device for multi-output power circuit that can search for a combination of voltage converters of high efficiency with a small man-hour.;SOLUTION: The design method for a multi-output power circuit which supplies output voltages to a plurality of power supply domains includes searching a tree structure having the best power efficiency by repeating a process of generating tree structures each including voltage converters between an input power source (root) and a plurality of output power sources (leaves) at random and a process of calculating power efficiency of the multi-output power circuits of the tree structure, as many times as less than the number of all possible tree structures. Further, the method includes performing the search process for an input-side tree structure having a plurality of voltage converters on an input side before a voltage converter which outputs an arbitrary output voltage in the tree structure found by the search process, and achieving improvement by replacement with the input-side tree structure detected through the search and having a better cost function value. The improvement process is repeated while the arbitrary output voltage is moved stepwise to an input side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
