PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable more households to easily keep Buddhist altar by using a television set or device connected with television set of which the penetration rates are high, and to establish the habit to pray in front of the Buddhist altar.;SOLUTION: By building the Buddhist altar software in a television set or a device connected with the television set of which the penetration rates are high, the Buddhist altar can easily be kept at a low cost without worrying about the installation place. The constitution of the Buddhist altar can be set depending on Buddhist sects, and Buddhist altars of a plurality of Buddhist sects can be displayed by switching them. Therefore, Buddhist services for the ancestors of both of a husband and his wife can be performed. The Buddhist altar software is started at a set time, and the sound of a ring or the sound source for the reading of Buddhist bibles are automatically reproduced.
