PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide a solid rocket, which is launched by an air launching system, to a large elliptical orbit as much as possible.;SOLUTION: A forecasting calculation unit 220 calculates a predicted position vector and a predicted velocity vector at a current-stage burnout time by integral calculation on the basis of a current position vector, a current velocity vector, a current thrust acceleration vector, a current time, the current-stage burnout time, and a current-stage thrust acceleration profile. The forecasting calculation unit 220 also calculates an orbit length radius of a predicted elliptical orbit and an altitude of perigee by integral calculation on the basis of the predicted position vector and the predicted velocity vector at the current-stage burnout time, the current-stage burnout time, a final-stage burnout time, and a final-stage thrust acceleration profile. A guidance calculation unit 230 calculates a new thrust direction angle on the basis of the orbit length radius of the predicted elliptical orbit and a difference between the altitude of perigee (or altitude of apogee) of the predicted elliptical orbit and a target altitude of perigee (or altitude of apogee) and then outputs the angle to a rocket control apparatus 120.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
