PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform an operation for detaching a shutter even though the shutter can be detached by manually sliding it from its closed position in the direction of closing operation in a state where it can be driven in the sliding direction by a motor.;SOLUTION: A rice cooker is provided with: a rice feeding port 41 for allowing rice dropped and discharged from a rice washing device to pass therethrough, which is formed in an upper lid 39 for covering an inner pot 38 of the rice cooker 5; the shutter 44 which can freely slide between the closed position in which it covers the rice feeding port 41 and an open position in which it opens the rice feeding port 41; a motor 61 which drives the shutter 44 in the sliding direction; an allowance s at a power transmission mechanism 62 between the motor 61 and the shutter 44 so that an output shaft 64 of the motor 61 may not rotate by the operation for detaching the shutter 44 when the shutter 44 is detached by manually sliding the shutter 44 from its closed position to the direction of closing operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
