PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation method for performing material membrane separation utilizing diffusion of molecules and particles under a mild condition and capable of controlling flow speed and inter-membrane differential pressure on a primary side flow passage, and a separation device.;SOLUTION: The material separation method utilizes mainly difference of diffusion speed of molecules and particles. In the device having a pump or pumps on an inlet side or on an outlet side or on both sides of the primary side flow passage for separating fluid, flow speed and inter-membrane differential pressure can be adjusted by adjusting pump discharge force. The flow speed and inter-membrane differential pressure also can be adjusted by applying air pressure in a fluid tank connected to the inlet of the primary side flow passage as a means for pressurizing the fluid, or by increasing height of water storage to generate hydraulic head pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
