PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve garbled characters and layout deformation of WEB information displayed on a WEB browsing device, which are caused by data prefetch.;SOLUTION: A prefetch proxy server performs the steps of: transferring first request data transmitted from a WEB browsing device to a WEB server; transferring WEB information corresponding to the first request data transmitted from the WEB server to the WEB browsing device; generating second request data from the WEB information to transmit it to the WEB server; receiving prefetched WEB information corresponding to the second request data from the WEB server; receiving third request data from the WEB browsing device which has acquired the WEB information corresponding to the first request data; transferring the prefetched WEB information to the WEB browsing device if header information of the second request data matches header information of the third request data, both of which request the same WEB information; and deleting the second request data and the prefetched WEB information and transmitting the third request data to the WEB server, if the pieces of header information do not match.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
