PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for taking out a residual broken bolt in a concrete sleeper for railroad, for simply and rapidly taking out a broken part of a bolt remaining in an embedded female screw plug of the concrete sleeper for railroad without damaging the sleeper.;SOLUTION: A method for taking out a broken bolt with missing head remaining in an embedded female screw plug 16 provided in a concrete sleeper from the sleeper includes: (1) a step for installing a drilling guide jig 30 provided with a central guide hole 31 in a female screw space above the broken bolt, and drilling a bolt core portion by a drill 32 from the top face of the residual broken bolt through the guide hole 31; (2) a step for attaching an inverse screw extractor 34 having a screw screwed into the reverse-threads of the bolt in the drilled hole formed in the broken bo and (3) a step for twisting the inverse screw extractor 34 in its advancing direction, and taking out the broken bolt while upwardly twisting the broken bolt together with the inverse screw extractor 34.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
