PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that although it is necessary to improve MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) efficiency in a photovoltaic power generation system, it is difficult to detect the maximum power point when a partial shade is generated by a conventional hill-climbing method, and that although a detection mode for detecting the maximum power point in an extremely short time is advantageous for the partial shade, it is not possible to accurately detect the maximum power point in the case of using the boosting unit since the circuit of the boosting unit is a hindrance.;SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation system includes a switch for separating a boosting unit having a detection mode for detecting the maximum power point in an extremely short time from a power conditioner in a start time or a rapid change in sunshine in the case of executing the detection mode. Also, after the detection mode ends, the switch is turned on, and the boosting unit executes the detection mode for detecting the maximum power point in an extremely short time.
